Terroir is Real - White Burgundies of 2022 with Sushi Omakase

Join us for an intimate evening, limited to just 6 guests, as we explore the elegance and complexity of 2022's finest White Burgundies. This exclusive tasting will showcase the extraordinary versatility of Chardonnay, highlighting how it reflects the unique terroir and winemaking expertise of four renowned Burgundy producers.

Our journey will take us from north to south through all 4 of the main white-wine regions of Burgundy, starting in Chablis and continuing through Côte d'Or, Côte Chalonnaise, and Mâconnais. You'll experience wines from the legendary winemakers Dominique Lafon, Domaine Leflaive, Aubert de Villaine, and Billaud-Simon, each carefully selected to reveal the essence of their region.

To complement these exceptional wines, we’ll enjoy a crafted Omakase menu at Thirteen Water West, a new culinary experience near Hudson Yards.

This will be a 6-person event with 4 white wines

NOTE: Meetup charges a "Partner Fee" that is above and in addition to the listed price of the event. It is annoying and confusing, but there is nothing I can do about it. It comes to approximately $5 more for each RSVP. You will see this charge when you complete your rsvp and pay for the event. Sorry!

Just a reminder of our usual rules:
* The cost of this event is $66 and is for the cost of the wines only. You will also have to pay the cost of your food (plus 33% for tax and tip). Everyone would be expected to at least order the standard menu for Omakase (13 courses) at $75, but feel free to add on any other items should you prefer.
