Welcome to Black Lady Boomers NJ/NY! This is a group for Black women of the Baby Boomer Generation who want to meet and socialize around art, entertainment, nature, fitness and more. We can go to free or modestly priced museums, concerts, plays, shows and festivals. We can meet for short walks, hikes or bike rides. I’m sure you have lots of other ideas to share and activities to suggest. So let’s get started!

Due to the increase, Black Lady Boomers’ last day on the Meetup platform will be November 30th.On December 1st, BLB wants to continue its activities and notify you of events via email.
If you'd like to stay connected via email and participate in BLB events in the future, send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "BLB Mailing List" please.As you have seen in the last few weeks, Marlene Davis, Co-Organizer, has added several events and will continue to do so when we move to email. We’ll keep you posted as we consider ways to rejoin the platform in 2025.
