**Please note:** We will be meeting in the lower lot which has ample parking. See end of the description for explicit directions.

Please join me for a 6 mile (*or so*) hike in Frick Park. We will meet at the Frick Park lower parking lot at 9:50 am and start hiking at 10:00 am. We will be covering about 6 (or more) miles in 2-1/2 to 3 hours, **with early outs**. This will **not** be a Swisshelm Park hike.

**This is not a slow poke hike, and you should be regularly doing 6 mile or longer hikes.** There will be a few hills and some are likely to be steep. Some single-path trails may be muddy. I will adjust the route based on the condition of the trails.

Please be on time or early. We will be departing on the hike at 10:00 AM sharp. As a courtesy to the group, please do not leave early without letting someone know.

Re: Ticks. All of the parks have ticks. You most often pick these up by brushing against vegetation. Use a good tick and bug repellent (Off or another brand with DEET is recommended). And check yourself and your clothing for ticks at the end of the hike and/or when you get home. They might even have gotten inside your clothing.

**Where is the lower lot?** From S Braddock Ave at the light at W Hutchenson St, with the GetGo gas station on your right, turn left. Follow W Hutchenson for 8 blocks to Lancaster St and a sign for the entrance to the park. Turn right and follow the winding road down to the parking lot. Or, just use the map pin.
