Fall Hawkwatch on Mt. Blue Job (Farmington, NH)

At 8:30am we will hike (0.9mi) to the bare summit of a minor peak adjacent to Mt. Blue Job in Farmington, NH. The hike begins on First Crown Point Rd, in Strafford, NH. There we will be stationary and survey the viewsheds west, north, and east looking for migrating hawks, eagles, falcons, and vultures. Your experience will be enhanced if you bring any of the following, ... drinks, folding chair, binoculars, scopes, cameras, hat, and sunscreen. The hike is mostly flat through some birch forest and pine woods, but then ascends sharply for a short distance to a wide open summit. [This is not a good event for dogs.] This event is $30 per person.
