**5.4 Miles, Storm King -North Point – Pitching Point Hike – Challenging. View, Ups/Downs, High Elevation!**
5.4 mile hike at the Storm King State Park. AMAZING VIEWS and Steep Ups and Downs Elevation gain \~ 1800 feet and there are few steep rocky sections\*\*. Early start due to small parking lots.\*\*
**Approx. Duration – 3.5-4 hours, depending on how fast we hike.**

**Meet by the BobCat (BC, White) trailhead**. We will leave ½ cars there and take a short ride to the Butter Hill trailhead (BH, Orange) to start our hike on the Butter Hill. We will end the hike at the BobCat and will drive ½ of the group to the ButterHill trailhead to get their cars.
This trail offers beautiful views of the Hudson River and the Hudson River Valley. **CHALLENGING intensity hike with some steep rocky ups and downs but no hiker will be left behind.** Bring hiking boots, bug spray, poles, water, lunch, and a sense of adventure.
