Come join us for a moderate 5 mile two hour hike with 580 feet of elevation gain in Jockey Hollow. Rich in history, this is where George Washington’s army pulled itself up by its bootstraps and gained momentum to win the revolutionary war. But not until facing some of the harshest winter conditions on record.

The tall dense trees and surrounding landscapes remain much as it was during the revolutionary war. Some hikers claim to see the ghost of continental soldiers marching lock step through the trees.

There is ample free parking and well appointed restrooms at the Jockey Hollow visitor center which is where we will start our hike.

Wear sturdy footwear, bring water and snacks. Join us and connect with nature, connect with each other and leave with an enhanced sense of well-being. Can’t wait to see you all there.
