What we’re about
NJ Ski Community will focus on building a local community of skiers in northern and central NJ. Are you having trouble finding ski buddies that have similar schedules or skill? Do you want to find families that ski with similar-aged kids? Do you find it awkward to post on social media that you need a ski buddy? The goal is to find solutions by having meetups so that you can meet your ski buddy(ies). We can plan trips and ski meetups, but this is not intended to be a formal ski club at this point. The initial events will be local activities such as coffee, hikes, walks, and drinks.
This will be private group so that members can freely discuss where they are skiing etc. Since there seems to be a lack of ski clubs for those in their 30s-50s, this group is intended for that age group. However, there is no age limit to chasing snow and having a blast so there will be no limit here.
By joining this group, you agree to hold event organizers harmless and not liable for any injuries experienced at any event. This will protect our event organizers from liability for simply organizing an event and encourage members to organize events. A signed waiver may be required before a physical activity.
