Rhythms are everywhere! In our homes, in the park, at the office, on the train, in our conversations, in our bodies … and of course, in our hearts <3
The Godown is excited to collaborate with drummer and multi-instrumentalist Andreas Panteli as he hosts an interactive 90 minute workshop to explore exactly this - the everythingness of rhythm! Andreas specialises in improvisation and folk percussion; with a flare for dance rhythms. We will learn how to adjust the rhythm to different styles of music, there will be performances with local artists, and we will end with a guided jam session; where we will practise being free and letting go.
On Saturday 28 September 7pm, bring your instrument*, your voice, your friends, neighbours or just yourselves to what is going to be a fun and unique evening in The Godown.
