* **Box Hill & Mickleham Circular Walk**: Starting from Box Hill and Westhumble train station, you'll ascend to the iconic Box Hill summit, rewarded with panoramic vviews of the Surrey Hills. Descend through picturesque woodlands to the historic village of Mickleham. The return journey takes you through charming countryside paths, offering a mix of gentle slopes and challenging climbs.
* **The Salomons Memorial**: A historic viewpoint that commemorates the area's natural and cultural heritage, providing panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
* **Westhumble and Mickleham:** Passby small towns at the foot of Box Hill, filled with quaint shops, cafes and churches. Stop by a pub on the way back to the station to grab a drink with the group.

Join us for a breathtaking hiking experience in the enchanting Black Forest this winter combined with visiting some of the most beautiful Xmas market's in the Black forest region.

**WHAT ARE SOME OF THE HIGHLIGHTS?**

* **Discover Triberg (Cuckoo Clock Capital):** Known as the unofficial cuckoo capital of the world and also houses the world’s largest cuckoo clock. Cuckoo clocks are an important part of Black Forest history, and they have been made in the region since the 1700s.
* **Discover Freiburg & Explore Freiburg Xmas Market:** A vibrant city in southwest Germany’s Black Forest, is known for its temperate climate and reconstructed medieval old town, crisscrossed by picturesque brooks (bächle).
* **Feldbergsteig:** A hiking trail with many superlatives! Stunning views and impressive nature make this path exciting and varied from the first to the last step.
* **Feldsee :** The Feldsee, also known as the Feldbergsee, is located in the Southern Black Forest Nature Park. A circular path around the lake shows interested hikers all sides of the cirque lake, known as the dark eye.
* **Panoramic Trail (Baden-Baden - time perrmitting):** Varied and exciting trail that takes you along Castle ruins from the Middle Ages, hidden forest paths and the large rock pillars of the Battert. The cliffs always promise a fantastic view over the city of Baden-Baden through to Alsace.
* **Discover Baden Baden:** Considered one of the most beautiful spots in Black Forest, this 19th–century town is filled with striking french architecture and old-world luxury.
* **Caracalla Thermal Baths in Baden-Baden (optional):** Named after the Roman Emperor Caracalla who came to Baden-Baden in the third century to soak his arthritis away, Caracalla is the modern response to a traditional bathing culture - an experience of all senses.
* **Schwarzwald Bahn:** Schwarzwald Bahn (Black Forest railway) passes directly across the Black Forest, through spectacular scenery, and passing through numerous tunnels and viaducts.
* **Ravenna Gorge Xmas Market**: Escape the humdrum of the city and lose yourself in this dreamy, fairytale Christmas market - the Weihnachtsmarkt im Ravennaschlucht (Ravenna Gorge Christmas Market).

Malta's strategic location in the Mediterranean Sea has made it a crossroads of civilizations for millennia. The Maltese Archipelago is home to some of the world's oldest freestanding structures, the megalithic temples incl. Ġgantija on Gozo.
The Mediterranean Sea surrounding Malta and Gozo is renowned for its crystal-clear waters, making it a paradise for water enthusiasts. Dramatic cliffs and hidden coves to picturesque valleys and clear blue waters, Malta and Gozo offer diverse and captivating outdoor settings.

The city's strategic location and fortifications have earned it UNESCO World Heritage Site status.
* **Inland Sea:** The lagoon is connected to the open sea by a naturally occurring rock arch. This unique geological formation allows seawater to flow in and out of the lagoon, creating a connection between the Inland Sea and the Mediterranean Sea.
* **Salt pans:** The salt pans have a history that dates back to ancient times. The practice of salt production has been passed down through generations and is closely tied to the island's cultural heritage. Some families have worked these salt pans since the 1860's
* **Victoria:** Victoria is situated in the centre of the island of Gozo, making it a central hub for transportation, commerce, and cultural activities.It has a rich history that dates back to ancient times. It was initially settled by the Romans and has been inhabited by various civilizations throughout the centuries. The city is home to historical sites, narrow winding streets, and charming architecture that reflect its diverse past.
* **Ġgantija (Optional-add on):** The Ġgantija Temples are ancient megalithic structures that date back to around 3600 BC, making them one of the oldest freestanding stone structures in the world. They were constructed during the Neolithic period by the prehistoric inhabitants of Malta.
* **Blue Lagoon:** The Blue Lagoon in Malta is a stunning natural attraction known for its crystal-clear, turquoise waters. It's located on the small island of Comino, situated between the main islands of Malta and Gozo.
