HTMX: Web 1.0 with web 2.0 benefits without the grift of 3.0

HTMX is an upcoming client side library to make rich applications development palatable to backend developers: it puts the HTML back into the development of the web! If you ever wondered how you could make a "true" REST application with HATEOAS, then this library is for you.

HTMX uses attributes to enable HTML elements to send requests and respond to server side rendered HTML content, updating your page dynamically. The library provides many hooks to call into your backend, and JavaScript support to make swapping HTML elements a breeze.

If you're comfortable with generating HTML in your (Java) backend, and want to deliver rich web applications, you definitely should take a look at HTMX, and this session is a good first primer.

Scaling with Hazelcast

Discover how WeAreFrank! tackled the challenge of decoupling the Frank!Framework console to boost horizontal scaling and load balancing. This session dives into integrating Spring 6 dependencies, managing authentication within an open-source framework, and custom-building pub/sub systems for efficient real-time updates. Drawing inspiration from Kafka, a document-streaming solution was built, allowing the console to handle high traffic with flexibility and speed
