Story Workshop

Description:
This meetup is designed to provide a supportive environment where writers can discuss the challenges they face in their storytelling journeys. Whether you’re experiencing writer’s block, struggling with plot development, or just want to brainstorm ideas, this is the perfect space for you.

Location:

• Urban Café at Spui 130. This cafe is located directly across from the entrance to the Centrale Bibliotheek. Look for our group in the back right as you enter the café.

Agenda:

1. Welcome and Introductions (10 minutes):

• Brief introduction to the meetup and its purpose.
• Attendees introduce themselves and share a bit about their writing projects.

2. Discussion of Writing Challenges (10-15 minutes):

• Open floor for attendees to share the specific issues they are facing in their stories.
• Group feedback and brainstorming sessions to help resolve these challenges.

3. Collaborative Problem-Solving (20 minutes):

• Provide targeted advice and creative solutions.

4. Wrap-Up and Next Steps (10 minutes):

• Discuss how to improve the meeting and set a date for the next one.

What to Bring:

• Notes about the challenges you’re facing.
• A notebook or device for taking notes.
• A willingness to share and help others with their writing struggles.

Additional Information:

• The Saturday morning Shut Up & Write meetup directly after this session. Feel free to join us in the library.
• All writers are welcome, regardless of experience level. Our goal is to create a collaborative and encouraging atmosphere.
