"Twelve Up Drinks" @ Leiden

You might have been curious about what Leiden has to offer, when passing by at Leiden Railroad-station... Yet up to now, you never saw a reason to leave the train at Leiden…. Well…. There are many reasons for leaving the train at Leiden station. A lot more then just one! On this meetup, you will get to know two reasons to go to Leiden once in a while, because we will visit two very decent bars.

During this meetup, we will start with a first drink in the nice and cozy hotelbar inside the IBIS hotel. This bar is very close to the city-side exit of Leiden central station. After one or two drinks in this venue, we will move on to the "Twelve Bar" - which is a bar on the toplevel inside the for Leiden standards very high big building. This building is very close to the western exit of the Leiden central station.

In this second venue we will visit during this meetup nite out in Leiden, one can enjoy a great vieuw! Because "Twelve Up" indeed means... 12th floor. Due to the location of this bar inside the venue, the "Twelve Bar" has a great view towards the ancient rivermouth of the Rhine. During the meetup and for those who want, one of the events-hosts will explain a bit of the history of this area you’re looking at from this bar. BTW, this second bar we will go to, is inside this building called “Fletcher Welness Hotel Leiden”.
