Great Smoky Mountains National Park covers 522,427 acres, divided almost evenly between Tennessee and North Carolina.

* Photo opportunities at, Chimney Tops pullout, Newfound Gap Road pullout, Oconaluftee River Trail and Farm Museum, town of Cherokee, North Carolina and the Gatlinburg Bypass overlook.
* Guided interpretive nature walk, fully equipped.
* Opportunities for wildlife viewing.

Guided interpretive scenic drive (Pink Jeep) – will bring mountain folklore to life as you pass through the charming town of Gatlinburg and roll into the western hills of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Soon, the narrow Roaring Fork Nature Trail twists and turns along a 5.5-mile, one-way, paved scenic loop named after the mountain stream that runs alongside it.

Hotel is located in Pigeon Forge at the Best Western. Rooms are about $175 per night.

We will fly into Knoxville and pick up a rental vehicle. The drive to the hotel is just over an hour. On the way if we see something of interest we will stop.
