PWYC Play: Mr. Burns, A Post-Electric Play
Details
"Four strangers around a fire try to piece together a tale from before the fall of humanity. What follows is the 82 year evolution of a story from pop culture to sacred myth. There will be singing and dancing and guns and shooting and fire and poison and Sideshow Bob and a chorus of ghosts and a rabid, violent cat and mouse duo and crocodiles and piranhas and darkness and devastation. But when all hope is lost, there will be Bart.
Mr Burns, a post electric play is an apocalyptic epic that asks: How can the stories of America’s most famous family usher humanity into a new era?"
This new show is presented at The Refinery on Dufferin Ave. Please note, the location is not wheel chair accessible and will require utilizing stairs to get to the box-office, washroom, and the theatre.
The box office and downstairs lounge open at 6:30pm and the show begins at 7:30pm (I will arrive for 6:30pm). The show is estimated to end at 9:45pm including an intermission. (Please note, this is only an estimate as the play has not begun rehearsal yet so the run time isn't known. I'll check with box office closer to the performance date to confirm the timing).
This is a Pay-What-You-Choose performance, meaning you can buy a ticket for any price of your choosing in the hour before the show starts in person at the box office (opens at 6:30pm). The Refinery only offers rush seating so there's no need to worry about picking/getting specific seats. We will meet in the downstairs lounge (drinks are available for purchase and permitted in the theatre) before the show and then get seating together once the theatre doors open.
Regular Tickets can be purchased online or at the box office:

General tickets $30
Seniors/students/artists $25
All tickets are subject to GST & PST.
I look forward to seeing you there!
