I'm pretty settled on Lassen Park and the Kohm Yah-mah-nee Visitor Center to ring out 2024 on the first day of 2025.

So, from the Visitor Center we'll embark on a journey to Windy Point, about a mile and half away, then do my favorite route, dropping into the gully between Windy Point and the parking lot and going cross country.

The bridge below the visitor center (pictured) should be open so we can complete the trek in the proper way!!

So, arm yourselves with snowshoes or XC skis, layers as appropriate including gloves and a warm hat, snacks, a hot drink, sun gear.

Meeting at 7:15am at Sportsman's Warehouse off Hilltop and leaving by 7:30. Early birds get easy access but more important, the best snow.
