Pisgah Black Mountain Loop Fun Ride!

The town of Brevard, NC is open for business and parts of the Pisgah National Forest trail system is open as well. I'm planning to ride the Black Mountain Loop at 14 miles and rated Black difficulty.

Zac from Greenville took me on this route once and it still the hardest trail I've ridden so far. 7 miles of gravel grind with 1.5 mile of hike-a-bike climb after to the top. Upper Black section is rough and loose, the Middle and Lower Black are very flowy. I remember it was a 5 mile of down hill run and the best ride ever!

Mountain bike, helmet, water, and snacks. I will wear my full face, elbow and knee pads for this ride.

10am Meet up at the Ranger Station/Visitor Center.
