***NOT ACCEPTING NEW MEMBERS AT THIS TIME. ***
All members MUST be vaccinated for COVID 19. Before you are approved, our organizer will send you an email with her cell number for you to send her a picture of your vaccine records. Since we are an older group of women (50’s, 60’s and 70’s) some with health issues, we want to keep our group as safe as possible by requiring the vaccine. We have had no outbreaks within our group.
This women's group meets every Tuesday morning for coffee either at the organizers house in Oceanside or another member's house. Some Tuesdays we meet for breakfast at 10:00 am or lunch around 11:30 am at different restaurants around Oceanside or Carlsbad. We have other activities that we sometimes schedule on Thursdays such as a painting class or other outing. We also have a couple of splinter groups within our group such as Mexican Train Game day and a Book Club once a month. We also have a big Halloween Costume party every year and a Holiday party in December. We have lots of fun!
This group has been in existence for 13 years. Some of us have been in the group almost the entire 13 years. We are a close knit group of women. Very welcoming and fun loving. We do expect regular attendance to keep your membership active. At Least once a month for new members so we can get to know you and then a minimum of every other month after that. Dues are only $6.00 per year which covers the cost of using the MEETUP website. Each member is expected to host one event per year either in their home, a restaurant, park or other venue. So, if you think this group is for you please feel free to join. Our organizer will contact you after you fill out the application.
