* Games event* On Saturday 23 November our French-language Meetup will include the option of playing games. We meet at Bar Loco at 1pm and then people can stay until 3.30pm or until games finish.
As ever, the intention is that we speak French the whole time. Everyone who can speak French at conversational or fluent levels is welcome to join us.
There will be a special option of 'games in French'. Yves will bring in a variety of games that are easily played in French. Also there will be classics such as the French game '1000 Bornes' which is simple to pick up. Feel free to bring in your own favourite game that could be played using the French language.
The games option will be available in the second half of the Meetup, from around 1.30pm. You can choose to play the games or you can choose to stick with conversation in French. C’est entièrement votre choix.
If you are joining us for the first time, please buy your own drink at the bar on the ground floor, then come and find us in the upstairs room. Occasionally we have to meet on ground floor if the upstairs room is not available.
