SATURDAY MORNING WALK - Laurelhurst Triangle to Union Bay Natural Area
Details
Welcome to our off season. Bad weather happens, but i try not to let it stop us. Dangerous conditions, however, will cause me to cancel completely or change what we do. Please check in the morning of the event to see what is happening. Arm yourself for winter weather. Please keep your RSVP up to date - even if you are on the waiting list.
Join us for a walk through a beautiful neighborhood and wonderful wetlands.
From Laurelhurst Playfield, you’ll find an interesting walking route through the beautiful Laurelhurst neighborhood in northeast Seattle.
Follow Laurelhurst Dr. N.E. south, and you’ll probably pass this park without a second thought. The only thing to note in this traffic circle park is the enormous tree, perhaps an oak or elm, that towers over the street.
Continue your walk by following this road as it loops down to the water (and the most impressive homes of this prestigious area) and takes you north again on the other side of the narrow peninsula.
