Abstract:
AG listeners can be tricky to configure for data folks since they are an intersection between networking and a data service. We will cover the fundamental roles and functionalities of the listener including DNS names, IP address configurations, and Active Directory computer objects. We'll discuss advanced topics like Read-Only routing, Service Principal Names, MultiSubnet Failover, Multi-Instance, and Listeners in Azure.
