Lynn Headwaters: Norvan Falls: Difficulty - Intermediate

Details

About the Hike:
This is a really beautiful, well marked, flat trail with one short area of incline and a few switchbacks which is deep into the hike, so it is nice to have at the end before seeing the falls. When arriving at Norvan Falls, users recommend crossing the creek at the top and scrambling along the left hand side to get right up against the pool of the falls. The mist and wind from the falls are especially spectacular on a hot summer day. Ultimately, this is a great hike with a satisfying waterfall goal. If users are looking for a more challenging route, take a right up the hill when reaching the fork in the road. This will let users see some beautiful classic north Vancouver scenery that is a little more rustic, less busy, and certainly is more of a challenge.

*One of the most popular hiking trails. One of the easiest of all intermediate hikes in North Vancouver, this is a good way to practice for harder intermediate hikes.
*For some people it will still be a challenge but can be completed without worry. Just enough of a challenge to make it worthwhile.
