Mountain Highway: Big Cedar: Difficulty - Easy
Details
About the Hike:
Big Cedar is a popular landmark that is over 600 years old and one of the largest remaining old growth trees on the North Shore. The majority of this route travels over trails which are unsanctioned and not maintained by the park. These natural trails have almost no man-made alterations and a few technical sections may require scrambling or the use of hands. Numerous creeks without bridges must also be crossed on foot, often through rushing water, while cautiously stepping across rocks.
*If parking is full, park alongside Mountain Highway and walk up to Mountain Hwy Parking.
