Hike Description: We will follow the Andrew Brook Trail to the scenic shores of Lake Solitude, a small mountain pond, then continue on to the cliffs of White Ledge which has excellent views to the east and north where we will take a break to enjoy the views. We will continue via the Lake Solitude Trail for an additional mile to the summit of Mt. Sunapee which has great views in all directions of Mt. Monadnock, the Green Mountains and the White Mountains. We will return via the same trails. This is not a dog friendly hike.

Directions: Take Route 93 N. to Route 89 to Exit 9-Rt. 103 West for 12 miles (5.3 miles west of the of the junction of Routs 103 and 114 in the town of Bradford). Turn left on Mountain Road, the trail is 1.2 miles on the right just before crossing a small bridge with guard rails. Parking is limited to side of the road. Please respect private owner's' property.

Mandatory gear: Microspikes, dress in layers NO COTTON, hiking shoe/boot, hat, gloves/mittens, enough water and food for six hours of continuous activity.
