Details

Welcome to the Northern Cincy Social Club!
We’re excited you are here. Please read through the following guidelines to help you make the most of your experience with us:

### APP NOTIFICATIONS
Our events often fill up quickly, so be sure to enable app notifications. This will ensure you’re alerted as soon as new events are posted.

### RSVP
Please RSVP for events to secure your spot. If an event is full, you can join the waitlist—spots often become available as the event date approaches. Check back periodically for updates!

### PAID EVENTS
Occasionally, we will host events that require pre-payment or a fee. Be sure to read the event details carefully for RSVP instructions and payment information.

### NO SHOW/LATE CANCEL POLICY
To ensure fair participation for all members, we have a no-show/late cancel policy. If you have 3 occurrences of the following, you will be removed from the group:

  1. Not showing up for an event you RSVP’d for.
  2. Cancelling your RSVP within 24 hours of the event.

### GROUP INTENT: FRIENDSHIP & FELLOWSHIP
Our goal is to foster connections and friendships. Members join to expand their social circles. If two people connect and decide to chat outside of the group, that’s perfectly fine. However, anyone who behaves aggressively in pursuing another member, either at events or through messages, will be removed and banned from the group.

### FIRST EVENT TIPS

  • Arrive early and introduce yourself to the host. It’s much easier than walking into a room full of strangers.
  • Look for the NCSC letters on the table to find the group or message the organizer if you're unsure.
  • Feel free to ask, “Is this the meetup?” to get started.
  • Be ready to answer questions like,
~ How long have you been coming to the group?
~ What events have you attended?
~ Do you live in the area?
~ What do you do for work, or fun?
  • Have a few questions prepared, such as:
~ Have you been here before?
~ What other events have you attended?
~ Can you introduce me to others?
  • Live music events are fun but may not be the best “first” event to attend, as many are on the dance floor. A dinner or happy hour may offer a more relaxed environment for making initial connections.

We have a welcoming and friendly group, and we look forward to seeing you at our next event. Let’s make new friends and enjoy everything the Cincinnati/Dayton area has to offer!

See you soon!
