Let's get the 2024-2025 ski season hopping at our local favorite, Snowy Range Ski Area in Centennial Wyoming. This is a local ski area with all the big area fun but no long lift lines, no crowded runs, no expensive beers or hamburgers, and no parking fees. YEAH... and a daily tow ticket is just $54. How can you beat that deal?
This is a 2 ski-day trip, but anyone can also just make it a single one-day trip to join us Monday December 16th or Tuesday December 17 to ski.
DETAILS:
**HOTEL**: For those staying overnight, the town of Centennial has several hotels / B&Bs available with rates as low as $71 per night for a two-person room. Snowy Hideout, Sawmill Homestead, Old Corral Lodge and Steak House, Centennial Trust and Mountainview are options for overnighting in Centennial. Several of us usually have our reservations at the Old Corral Lodge. Discuss with others if you want to share a room, otherwise everyone is responsible for making their own overnight reservations.
**TRANSPORTATION**:
Area opens at 9 am and takes about 90 minutes to drive from Fort Collins. Again, everyone is responsible for coordinating your own transportation.
**SKI RENTAL AND LESSONS:**
You can also contact the area if you would like to rent gear and get a lesson along with your ticket for a very low price.
**YOUR RESPONSBILITY:**
You are responsible for your own safety and ability assessment. You are responsible for knowing each events' location rules such as parking, fees, hours, etc. Recommend you research destination and weather to determine if this event is right for you. There are many official sites including Snowy Range Web Site, Larimer County, City of Fort Collins, City of Windsor and City of Loveland, and the National Weather Service to find the most up to date information on trails, road conditions, weather conditions. etc..
