Let's meet in the Waccamaw National Wildlife Refuge Cox Ferry Lake Recreation Area Jackson Bluff Trailhead Parking lot on Gray Lake Blvd. near Jackson Bluff Rd. From there, we can follow a series of trails to get to a pavilion with picnic benches next to Cox Ferry Lake. Then, we can return via the Blue Trail and its long Boardwalk, for a total of about 3.5 miles. Afterwards, we can eat lunch right down the street at McAlister's, where Jackson Bluff Rd. meets route 544.
