**Read to the bottom for directions, please!**

We will launch right around 10am so please be prompt. If you can get there by 9:45/9:50 that would be perfect. This paddling route is very calm without a strong current. This date is supposed to be great weather, temp of 71, with no rain and a light wind. Can't schedule too far out this time of year due to weather hence the short notice time.

I have called several places and this time of year no one is delivering kayaks (that I can find anyway) so you will need to bring your own. I have one extra that can hold 1 or 2 people and Mark has one extra that holds a single person. If anyone going has any extras that people can use, please post in the comments. **For those who need to use the extras, first come first serve so say so right away in the comment section**. I also have a few life jackets some can use if need be.

**If you are going to use someone else's kayak, please do not cancel going the day of the paddle due to us having to haul them and not being able to just leave them out when we go on the river as someone might take them. Plus, it'll possibly take away from someone else going if you say yes, then don't go.**

Suggestions: Take: A hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, a towel, shorts (I wear swim shorts), a rash guard if you want, drinking water and a baggie or water cover for your phone.

***Directions: For some reason this site is not giving the map and directions to Pitch Landing so I put in The Gun Shop as it's close to the landing. Then I moved the Pin but it still won't list it as Pitch Landing so* IGNORE THE GUN SHOP *stuff and just use the map for directions to where I put the Pin.***

***If you have WAZE or Google Maps, just type in Pitch Landing Rd, Conway, SC and it'll take you right there. Other GPS might, also.***

***If you want to come to my house (In Socastee) and ride with me, I can take 4 people. Or you can just follow me if you want to take your own vehicle. Just let me know and I'll give you my address. I will be leaving by 9 am! It takes me about 35 to 40 minutes to get there.***

"Take 544 to Conway. Turn left on Cox Ferry Rd. Turn right on 544. Turn left on 501. Turn right on Wright Blvd. Turn right on 4th Ave which turns into US-701. Turn left on Copperhead Rd. Turn left on Pitch Landing Rd. The landing is at the end of Pitch Landing Rd"
