If you want to start learning Tai Chi, we recommend that you try to sign up as close to the beginning of every new session... Check out www.TQSpirit.com for all the up to date information.
After a Newbie learns the basics, Tai Chi is learned "one movement" at a time, and so trying out tai chi is best from the beginning. However, with that said, there are special BASICS classes that are sometimes held mid-session so that Newbies who were unable to start in either January, April or September, will get a chance to do so.

** Important... If you are a newbie and wish to reserve your spot or register at any of our locations, please EMAIL US. Alternatively, you can call for extra information: 604-986-9276

ABOUT THE CURRENT INSTRUCTOR
Sifu Josie has been training on the North Shore since 2002. In addition, she has been training with the SYL Institute since 2004. In 2008 Grand Master Shou-Yu Liang, Master Helen Liang and Master Chenhan Yang gave traditional "permission" to teach on the North Shore. That community has grown from a small group of students at the North Shore Neighbourhood House to a growing community of students that learn and practice out of 5 locations.
In addition to many types of Qigong, Sifu Josie teaches many different styles and forms of Taijiquan. To review her bio please go to: ABOUT SIFU JOSIE
ABOUT LYNNE COVE
The North Shore Qigong & Tai Chi Enthusiasts was set up to let the World know about classes that Master Lynne Cove taught on the North Shore. Lynne Cove taught tai chi and qigong until she was 87 years young! Master Lynne was an inspiration to all. You'll see many of her pictures remain on this site as a tribute to her memory and all the joy she brought to so many.
