This Meetup is for anyone wishing to become more flexible, improve balance, and learn breathing and relaxation techniques. We begin with breathing techniques, then upper body, core, and leg stretches. All of this is done sitting on the mat and comprises the first half of the Meetup. We slowly transition to standing for a few balance challenges and then back down to the floor where we complete the practice lying on the mat.
You will need to bring an exercise mat and possibly a small blanket if you want to cushion your hips when sitting or want a covering for final relaxation.
