* **Grade:** *Easy with a couple of steep stepped sections. Comfortable pace across paths and tracks.*

* **Overview:** Far reaching views and very peaceful
* **Terrain:** Mostly paths with some tracks, field and riverside walking couple of short uphill and downhill steps, uneven footing. Expect some muddy sections.
* **Route:** From Red Kite pub following paths to Swalwell, return with slight detours to Butterfly Bridge, Hollinside Manor, 9 arches viaduct, and Lockhaugh meadows before looping back to the pub.
* **Sustenance:** Xmas lunch at The Red Kite pub.
* **Dogs:** Well behaved dogs are welcome – on short lead in sight of livestock and where signed.
* **Request:** If you change your mind and decide to cancel, please alter your RSVP to “Not Going” .

PLEASE NOTE ,,, This is a walk (approx 3 hours) in Derwent Country park, using a mixture of paths, tracks and steps, please make sure you wear appropriate clothing for the expected weather.
