A walk around Prudhoe via some of the old wagonways, very little is seen of Prudhoe !
Starting from the Tyne Riverside park we climb steeply up to High
Mickley, before dropping down to the site of the old Hedley pit. We then follow another wagon way to cross Moor road and pass through Dukeshagg wood. The way then goes past Bradley Hall and Daniel farm to enter Wylam. From here we go through the hamlet of Hagg bank and pick up another wagonway, passing the old ICI spoil heaps takes us back to the parking.
