**This is what we plan on doing. Take the UP Northwest Train from Palatine at 10:12 to the Jefferson Park Station. Special ticket prices for black Friday is $7 all day. If you get on further north or south, let us know what car you are on.**

**From Jefferson Park, we will walk down the platform (thank you Irene for the info), a couple hundred feet to the CTA Blue Line train and take that to the Washington Stop, where we will begin our journey. The CTA costs $2.50 one way or $5 if you buy a day pass.**

Did you know there is an underground walkway system throughout much of the loop area of Chicago? It exists, it’s safe, has shops and restaurants, and is very interesting. Let’s walk the distance from Daley Plaza to the Fairmont Hotel, which is north of Millennium Park. Maybe we can stop at the Christkindle Market and/or Macy's Walnut room just to look around at the decorations.

We'll be taking the train down from the Palatine Station. Further info on the train will follow. If you want to meet up elsewhere, you can still join us.
