What we’re about
We are a friendly, relaxed bunch of people who meet up to have a drink and a chat, to catch up, to meet new people, and to have fun. We are from all sorts of backgrounds with a variety of nationalities, hobbies and interests.
We've been running since August 2015, meeting every other Wednesday and an occasional weekend too. We have recently also increased the number of event organisers so that we can offer a wider range of events to suit our members. If you are interested in becoming an organiser please get in touch.
We're mainly in our 20s and 30s, but if you are young at heart then you will be more than welcome. We have many members who do not speak English as their first language, so don't worry if you're not a native speaker.
Guidelines:
-Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, however if your beliefs or behaviour victimises others and/or makes others uncomfortable, you may be removed from the group at the organiser's discretion.
-Please be mindful of other people's boundaries - harassment is not cool.
-If at all possible please include a photo of yourself in your profile so we can find each other at events.
-Make sure to update your RSVP if you can no longer attend. No shows take up limited spaces which someone else could have been waiting for.
-Most importantly, have fun and get connecting!
