Friday Social: Fireside Drinks, Marshmallows & New Connections

Join us for a cosy Friday Social at The Lion’s Den, a brand-new outdoor venue at The Red Lion Pub, Bishopgate, Norwich, NR1 4AA, on Friday, 29th November, from 7 pm to 11 pm.

With firepits to keep you warm and a chilled ski chalet atmosphere, this is the perfect way to unwind, meet new people, and toast marshmallows under the stars. Order hot drinks to stay toasty or enjoy wine, beer, and more from the pub itself.

What to Expect:

• A relaxed setting with cosy firepits
• Marshmallow toasting and friendly chats
• Hot drinks, wine, and beer available to purchase
• Food is available to purchase - toasties, soups etc

What to Bring:

• Dress warmly: think hats, scarves, gloves, and thick coats or dry robes (you’ll thank us later).
• Be prepared for smoky clothes/hair—you may need to shower and wash your outfit afterward!

Guests
You may bring 1 non-Meetup guest. Please select that you are bringing a guest before checkout. Guests will also pay the £10 fee to attend and they do need to be aged 35-55.

Parking:
The pub has a car park. There's also free parking available after 6:30pm on Gas Hill.

Cost:

• The £10 fee helps support the organisation of this event, the growth of our group, and a meaningful donation to a very worthwhile cause, 'Safe at Home'. While the venue will remain open to regular customers, we’ve reserved space for our group and will provide name badges to help identify members. Food and drinks are purchased separately, but the real value is in the community and connections we’ll create together.
