Join us for our next Nothin’ But Coffee Shops book club discussion! This book club meets every few months and contains a variety of genres.

Our next book club pick is for fiction and self-development lovers alike called "The Tao of Pooh". In it, author Benjamin Hoff demonstrates the principles of Taoism through Winnie the Pooh. Taoism is an ancient Chinese philosophy that instructs on how to exist in harmony with the universe. Some of the principles include letting go of expectations and healthy-striving. I felt this might be a good one for January as people consider direction going into the new year.

It was first published in 1982 and has been re-released with many covers (so no fear if yours doesn’t look like the one in the event cover). It was a New York Times Best Seller for 49 weeks and is only 176 pages in the paperback.
