The deets: Ever tried a kava bar? Lacuna serves coffee, tea as well as botanical drinks. Additionally, you can add kava or kratom to your drink here, which are plant based supplements that have a relaxation effect. However, you can also order any drink without it if you prefer. I’ve never felt much of a difference when having kava personally, however it’s something unique, and perhaps worth trying particularly if you’ve never partaken before. Also, the drinks taste pretty yummy regardless, and this place has a cool vibe (it’s one of those coffee shops converted from an old house). **Parking:** They have parking on the surrounding streets. Parking on Portland and Moreland streets a couple blocks north of there are free.
