What we’re about
If you love art and sharing the admiration for it with other people this group is for you. The plan is to meet up once a month for a lunch/coffee and a wander trough art galleries and exhibitions in and around Nottingham. Once in a while we will go on an art adventure a bit further away - London, Manchester, Birmingham - the possibilities are endless. :)
As you might be aware Meetup has recently increased the organiser fees to £42 per month which accounts to the annual cost of running the group to £500. I'd rather not charge members for attending the events but I am afraid I won't be able to afford to run the group without your help. That's why I have decided to ask you for donations that will contribute to the organiser costs. Let's combine some Christmas shopping with a bit of surrealism! This event includes a trip to The Hepworth Gallery in Wakefield to:

- - and see the Forbidden Territories: 100 Years of Surreal Landscapes exhibition
Let's start at the gallery Café, have some coffee and then move on to the market or the exhibition. As usual - we can have lunch afterwards in the Café as well - they had some really nice food the last time I visited.
I will be driving so happy to offer a lift from Nottingham.
