Neil is a retired engineer involved with safety in the rail industry. Neil has several formal safety qualifications covering occupational safety and system safety. Neil has had a varied career with over forty years of rail experience, including over thirty years of safety experience. Neil has worked in research, manufacturing, Infrastructure Manager, and consultancy organisations. Neil has created safety analyses, judged and approved the analyses created by others and provided help and advice to the industry. Neil has held a number of senior positions including Head of Acceptance, Chair of System Review Panels, and Engineering Assurance Director.
