You're welcome to join us at the Crocus Cafe in Lenton. This is a friendly community cafe which is volunteer led and serves vegetarian and vegan food only. It is a favourite which I have visited many times over the years.

Orange buses 35 and 36 leave from by the side door of John Lewis, Victoria Centre, or from Angel Row where 34 is just as good. You can also get the Indigo from Friar Lane, or from Derby bus station.

You need get off at Lenton Savoy. From there it's less than ten minutes on foot. Walk a few yards downhill on Derby Road, turn left at the lights along Lenton Boulevard. Go past some shops and you can't miss it on your left (see picture).

If using the tram, Gregory Street stop is a short walk away. There's only limited on-street parking outside Crocus, for up to three hours, or on Park Road a five minute walk away, so I recommend using public transport. Cycle parking is available nearby.

Alternatively, Crocus is a very pleasant 30 minute walk from the castle. Keep straight on through Nottingham Park Estate, through the barriers, down Park Road, past Cotswolds and follow Lenton Boulevard right round the corner.
