Group Norms:
1. We will begin and end meetings on time.
2. What is said in the group stays in the group.
3. Silence is acceptable. No one will be pressured to speak or share.
4. The group offers respect for individual choices and experiences.
5. The group is broadly defined. It is flexible; flowing with the participants’ needs and interests, and provides an opportunity to reduce feelings of isolation.
6. Although the results of going to group can be therapeutic, the group is not meant to replace individual therapy.
