Want to meet fellow hackaday hackers, radio nerds, and meshtastic users at LA's local hackerspace? Come visit Null Space Labs for our third Meshtastic Meetup!

This is an informal meetup organized by Kody from Null Space Labs for Meshtastic enthusiasts, beginners, and those involved in SoCal Mesh.

Whether you run a meshtastic node, want to get started, or just want to see what the community is working on, this meetup is open to any experience level.

The event doesn't require any technical experience, and you can bring your own node and laptop or just come to learn. We'll be covering:

1. LoRa & Meshtastic software basics, setup and settings
2. Standard Meshtastic hardware and options (including antennas)
3. Custom cat-shaped Meshtastic hardware projects in LA
4. Programmatic control and setup of Meshtastic with Python
5. Adding sensors (temperature sensors, radar human presence detection sensors)
6. SoCal Mesh Net project - Hear from socal mesh net node operators about real world Meshtastic scaling and applications

First meeting of the Embedded Security Meetup. A monthly meeting for those interested in learning more about embedded systems security, hardware hacking, and electronics. This is not a class or lecture; expect folks to be working on projects and socializing about all things embedded. Bring a project to show and tell or work on at the space!

Where do I park? / How do I get inside?
Parking: There is free street parking on N Ontario St. It is usually easy to find a spot after business hours or on weekends.
Getting inside: Once you park, head down the walkway, we are the long building in the back (see link for overhead directions)
