What we’re about

The Nutrition Science Group is a collection of doctors, dietitians, nutritional therapists and other scientists who are passionate about getting the message out to the public regarding what the best current science is saying about the way we should be eating. 

Current focus is on transitioning to low sugar and low consumption of foods rapidly converted into sugar (eg. bread, rice, pasta, potato), i.e. low Glycaemic index foods. The diet is best adhered to when the person also increases their consumption of healthy fats and oils, eg. extra virgin olive oil (no oil seeds or trans fats).
