DESCRIPTION
This hike features an eclectic sampling of Manhattan attractions and the spectacular and well-known holiday decorations. We will take the morning train to Penn Station. We will cover the High Line Trail, Chelsea, Greenwich Village, Hudson River, Washington Square Park, Union Square, Madison Square Park, Bryant Park, Grand Central Terminal, and a sampling of Central Park, before reaching the Christmas tree and the lights at Rockefeller Center by nightfall. We will then make our way back to Penn Station via Times Square. Lunch will be along the way; we will also stop from time to time for breaks.

AMTRAK RESERVATIONS
Please reserve as below. Note that the departure station is assumed to be BWI (where parking is convenient and relatively cheap); you may board at alternative locations (Union Station).

Outbound: Train 54, departing BWI at 7:57 a.m.
Return: Train 165, departing Penn at 8:01 p.m.
