Turkey Day will be behind us. Looking forward to Christmas and the New Year.
Let’s get together and enjoy the one and only Mr Sam Savage aka Mr Entertainment at Muggs n Manor. He really lives up to his name, performing classics by Al Green , Luther Vandross, Sam Cooke , Motown. some Blues, and current hits. He will be accompanied by a lovely female vocalist. She performs divas like Sade, Cher, and ones we lost like Tina Turner, Whitney and Donna Summer. . They will be doing some Christmas songs.

They also take requests.

Muggs n Manor is a fun neighborhood bar. Great food and reasonable prices. Soups, a large variety of appetizers , wings, Sagnaki Oopah!, fish, ribs, the best broasted chicken in the Midwest. burgers and salads.
A fully stocked bar. House wines are $5.00 all night.
They have a large dance floor, no cover, a very friendly staff, easy parking located in a strip mall.

Management has reserved a section for our group. Please be true to your RSVP. It’s a holiday weekend and it can get busy. No shows and late cancellations will be noticed and addressed.

The Heritage Jazz Orchestra led by Luke Malewicz is the premier repertory jazz orchestra in Chicago. They offer big band sounds of Count Basie, Buddy Rich, Stan Kenton. They are made up of several horns, trombones, bass guitars, drummer and a keyboard.

So come and enjoy this fantastic ensemble as they celebrate the holiday season with classics that will bring out your holiday spirit.
Also there will be a great female vocalist Leslie Buekleman belting out Sleigh Ride, Let it Snow, Winter Wonderland, and more.
Perhaps you have heard Leslie before. She has been with the Skyliners Band in the Chicagoland area for over 20 years.

Hey Nonny located in downtown Arlington Heights offers the best eclectic farm to table menu in their bistro room.
A variety of starters, salads, pastas, seafood, pot roast and Chicken pot pie. Great comfort foods.
Desserts like bread pudding, crème brûlée.

A fully stocked bar, martinis, wines by the glass or bottle, beers, draft, bottle or can.

Easy parking in the garage next door or on the street.

Management has set aside 16 seats or 4 tables for us. RSVP if definite.
Tickets are $25 no fee.
Once I get 16 rsvps or close to that,
I will get the code to waive the fee. Then the ticket must be prepaid, then you indicate Paid.

We will be dining at Johnny's Kitchen & Tap, 1740 Milwaukee Ave., Glenview, IL. It is located in a strip mall on the southwest corner of Milwaukee (IL 21) and W. Lake Ave. Its website is https://www.johnnyskitchenandtap.com/.

Separate checks are available. The prices on the menu are for payments in cash. The cost is 3% higher if payment is by credit card.

GUESTS: If you want to bring a guest, please send me a message and tell me the first name of your guest. I will update your RSVP if space is available. First names are needed since I will be pre-printing name tags.

WAITING LISTS: Please do not put your name on a waiting list if you are not planning on attending. Sometimes there are late cancellations. I understand that at some point you may want to make alternate plans. If so, please change your RSVP to "Not Going". This allows others behind you on the list to be cleared. If anyone on the waiting list is cleared and does not attend, that person will be marked as a no-show.

NO-SHOWS AND LATE CANCELLATIONS: I apologize to all the courteous and responsible people for posting this. Unfortunately this is necessary due to the exceptions.

No-shows may be removed from this group. Cancellations within 48 hours of the event may be considered as no-shows.

Sometimes there are legitimate reasons for late cancellations. This could include illness, family emergencies, unexpected work requirements, car problems, etc. If you have a good reason for cancelling late, please send me a private message explaining the reason and I may excuse you. DO NOT POST YOUR REASON ON A COMMENT. Your message should clearly indicate why you couldn't cancel before the deadline. Messages or comments merely stating something like "Sorry, Something came up." or "Can't make it. Sorry." are not sufficient. Excuses will be examined on a case by case basis. If you have a history of no-shows or late cancellations, this will be taken into consideration.
