You're welcome to hop on by yourself or join with friends. About 75% of people sign up by themself so don't worry if you're coming on alone! Our host will make introductions and put you on a team with other people so it's a great way to make new friends. It's a fantastic way to meet new people and we've witnessed countless friendships sparked at this event. In fact, the host gives everyone the opportunity to swap contact info with other people in the group at the end of the night if they'd like to.
If you sign up with friends, the host will make sure to put you on a team with your friends.
* The event host will group you off into teams and you'll be playing as a team against the other groups. You're never put on the spot to come up with answers... you'll be working with your team to answer the questions. You'll answer great trivia questions in all of your favorite categories like pop culture, history, entertainment (music, movies & TV), arts & literature, science and more. The winning team gets a prize!
* If you come on your own you'll be put on a team with others who have also come on their own. If you sign up along with friends we'll be sure to put you and your friends on the same team. (The awesome part about this event is that you'll always be working with your team to come up with answers so you're never put directly on the spot to have to answer anything).
* We have several unique rounds of trivia which keeps it really fun and exciting. Some rounds are like traditional trivia nights (simply answering trivia questions), other rounds are totally unique and change at each event. Sometimes we may show you a series of photos and ask you trivia questions about the photos, other times we play games like "Reverse Family Feud" where you'd have to guess the least popular answers to our question (it's soooo much fun!), or sometimes we'll play a "Find The Common Link" game where you'll have to answer some questions and figure out the common link between all the answers like this:

When login to the event, you'll get to see all of the other participants via video on Zoom. The event host will then pair you off into smaller teams of about 6 people per group and you'll be working as a team against the other groups. You'll be playing fun games like....
* Playing fun party games similar to Scattergories, Catchphrase, Apples to Apples , Taboo and other games that are similar to your favorite TV game shows! (Don't worry, you don't need to know how to play anything in particular. The host will explain how each game is played). An example game we like to play is "Blank Slate" (In Blank Slate, the host will show you a word followed by a blank. For example: _________ HOUSE. You'll write down a word that goes before the word HOUSE such as "DOG" or "FULL" or "HAUNTED". Essentially you're trying to predict what will be a popular answer. We do different fun games at each event we throw!

If I have friends or family members that don't live with me, can they be put on a team with me? Yes! We'd say about 75% of participants sign up on their own but if you have any friends or family members that want to join, they can too (simply message the host at the beginning of the event and ask to be placed on the same team as them). Each player needs to buy their own ticket. If you have a family member/s that is same household as you, they are welcome to sit next to you and you can play along with you but each device needs to purchase their own ticket.How many will be participating? You're invited to this fun, creative, social, and fun event! We will be painting in Central Park under the guidance of a master artist! Please bring something to sit on (towel is fine).

DIRECTIONS TO FIND THE GROUP:
We are located in a cul-de-sac at PINETUM EAST. We will be behind this row of benches (right under the trees). If you are coming from the east side you can find us by entering Central Park on East 84th street. Walk up the ramp, cross over the road and head west. If you are traveling from the west side we are east of the basketball courts. We will email you with more precise instructions after you sign up.What to expect:
• Step-by-step, group-oriented painting instruction, which is designed to simultaneously entertain and enlighten our members.
• We'll have a professional artist guide you through a featured painting that is yours to keep and proudly display. And don’t worry — no experience is necessary.
• 2 hour course lead that teaches you the art of mixing colors, blending and painting techniques.
• All supplies provided - 12x16 pre-sketched canvas, unlimited acrylic paint (water based), brushes, and aprons.
