Let's visit two museums with major new exhibitions:
*The NYC Transit Museum, featuring "The Subway Is...", which explores the many different ways to complete that sentence. Seven other exhibitions focus mainly on the amazing history of this massive engineering marvel that we often take for granted.
*The Brooklyn Museum, currently showing the largest collection of Brooklyn artists ever assembled in its nearly 200 year history, plus gold in art, a black revolutionary artist and numerous permanent exhibitions.
After an hour or less at the Transit Museum, we'll take a 10 minute walk to the big Dekalb Food Court, which houses 40 vendors serving a wide array of tantalizing cuisines. Afterwards we'll walk through charming brownstone neighborhoods Height for about 45 minutes to the Brooklyn Museum for an hour or more of art gazing.
ENDING TIME: Around 4 PM, but you can leave earlier or stay later at the museum if you wish.
LUNCH: Buy it at the food court or bring your own.
