Welcome to the "Startup Founders Drinks and Networking" meetup group in New York City, a new sister community of the same in San Francisco! We're a community of passionate entrepreneurs, innovators, and dreamers who believe in the power of connection and collaboration. Our group is all about bringing together like-minded individuals who are navigating the exciting and challenging journey of building a startup.
Whether you're in the early stages of your startup or looking to scale, you'll find a welcoming and supportive environment here. We plan to host regular meetups where you can share your experiences, learn from others, and make valuable connections over drinks in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
We design our events to foster genuine conversations and ideas exchange in an informal and fun setting. We believe that the best insights usually come from casual chats rather than formal presentations, so you'll find plenty of opportunities to mingle, ask questions, and make friends.
Expect to meet a diverse group of people, from tech enthusiasts just starting the entrepreneurial journey to serial founders, investors and successful-founders-turned-mentors. Please note: founder time is valuable and only a founder can truly understand what it means to be on the path of the founder, so we only accept actual founders, and the occasional investor or C-level startup exec that has taken on the founder baton. Prospective members need to provide a LinkedIn profile and have a matching Meetup profile photo, with identities checked at the event. We take quality seriously, and don't want to spend our precious social time getting sold services by vendors and consultants ;) There are plenty of other events for that kind of networking.
