Now weather is getting crispier, and leaves are beginning to change colors. It’s the season to go apple/pumpkin picking and hikes. You can never have too much of a good thing!

Please join us on Saturday, Sept 28, 2024, with the students of The Young Women’s Leadership School of the Bronx to enjoy the nature at its best.

We will leave from the school by 10 AM. If have your own transportation, you can meet us at Dr. Davies Farm directly.

We will go apple picking at Dr. Davies in Congers, NY, have lunch at the farm, test our skills in the corn maze, and then head over to a nearby state park for an easy hike through the woods.

Bring: Cash for the farm stand (if you'd like), Appropriate shoes, Snacks to share, Rain gear in case of inclement weather, and lots of water!

IMPORTANT: We only have room for three adults in the van! We already have two spots filled by the agency rep (myself) and the school rep. We have room for only one volunteer. After that, if you'd like to join us, please arrange your own transportation.
