It’s part of the “7-11 Series,” meaning the hike begins at 7 AM and is aimed to be completed by 11 AM, although it might extend beyond that time due to the hike's length.

Key points include:

Punctuality is critical; no late arrivals will be accommodated, and messages or calls about delays won’t be considered.

The hike will only have a single 10-minute break, with no lunch break.

It’s intended for seasoned hikers, and the group will not wait for slower participants.

A trail map will be shared for safety.

Make sure you’re well-prepared and on time for this fast-paced hike .

Join us for a brisk 15-mile hike with a 700 ft elevatio.

This is a no-lunch hike, with only one 10-minute snack break. We expect to finish by 11:00 AM.

The Columbia Trail in New Jersey is a scenic, relatively easy trail that spans about 15 miles, running from High Bridge in Hunterdon County to the town of Bartley in Morris County. It's a popular trail for hikers, bikers, and even cross-country skiers in winter, offering a peaceful escape through woodlands, farms, and small towns along the way.

Wildlife and Plant Life: Frequent sightings of local wildlife, particularly near the river and open fields. In spring and summer, there are colorful wildflowers along the path.

Accessibility: Ample parking is available at trailheads, with popular starting points in High Bridge and Long Valley.
