NYCPlaywrights Zoomers meets online once a week on Mondays between 7PM - 10PM.
We have 3-4 actors available per meeting to perform the scripts (although playwrights can participate as readers too) so writers pay $50 per month tocover the actors fees - NYCPlaywrights believes in paying actors.
You can sit in on a session for free. Email [email protected] to let us know when you'd like to sit in.
If you are interested in being a playwright with the group - please send an example of your playwriting work, as a PDF file to [email protected].
If you are interested in being an actor with the group - we have a regular repertory of four actors, but sometimes one or more actors can't attend a particular meeting, so we ask other actors to sit in. If you are interested, send your actor info - social media, reel, etc. to [email protected]
